Brain Health 100
The Standard
An honor is only as good as how it’s given. Here is exactly how this one works: who can be listed, who sets the rank, where the money is (there is none), and how to get off the list.
- Nominate. Anyone can put a name forward. It’s free.
- Verify. The editorial desk checks the person, the work, and unsafe claims before the name appears.
- Rank. Verified supporters set the rank. More supporters, higher rank. Same count, same rank.
- Publish. The page shows their work, the sources, and who vouched.
The Phoenix Evidence Standard
Every nominee is checked against the same six published rules before they appear.
- Evidence contribution
- Their work adds to, or rigorously and faithfully communicates, the evidence base for brain health and Alzheimer’s prevention.
- Patient impact
- Real people are measurably better informed, better cared for, or better supported because of what they do.
- APOE4 / prevention relevance
- Their work matters specifically to prevention and to genetically at-risk people, not only to late-stage disease.
- Independence
- Their public positions are not dictated by who pays them, and material conflicts of interest are disclosed.
- Accessibility
- They make credible knowledge usable by ordinary families, not just by specialists who already have access.
- Integrity
- No unproven cure claims, no fear-mongering, no selling false hope. Honesty about uncertainty is part of the bar.
Who decides
You do. Anyone can vouch for a person on this list. Your name shows only after you confirm your email.
Before that, we check every nominee: a real person, real work, and no unsafe claims. Being nominated is an honor. Real people put names forward because the work earned it.
Then verified supporters set the rank. No closed doors.
The Phoenix founder and staff can never be on the list.
Some names were added by our editorial desk so every field is covered. They follow the same rules as everyone else.
How the live ranking works
Your rank is the number of people above you, plus one. Same count, same rank. If three people tie for #3, the next person is #6, not #4. Nobody with zero supporters is left out. They share one tied rank at the back of the field, and the first verified supporter moves them onto it.
- Podium
- rank 1–3
- Top 10
- rank 4–10
- Top 25
- rank 11–25
- Top 50
- rank 26–50
- Top 100
- rank 51–100
- Your rank is the number of people above you plus one. Same count, same rank.
- Ranks update live. They keep moving until The 2027 Hundred is named in 2027.
- Each email can vouch for up to 10 people. One vouch per person.
- Hidden or fake vouches never count.
Free forever
It costs nothing to nominate, be listed, or vouch. No fees, no paid packages, no paid placement. Ever.
If anyone asks you for money in the name of Brain Health 100, it’s a scam. Tell us: kevin@thephoenix.community.
How public support works
A vouch is public. Your name shows on the nominee’s page after you confirm your email.
We count vouches in the open. That count is the rank.
Unconfirmed vouches never show. Fake, paid or duplicate vouches get a nominee removed.
Editorial and commercial firewall
Phoenix’s partners, sponsors and advertisers have no say here. None.
Working with Phoenix never helps or hurts anyone on this list.
This list endorses no drug, supplement, device or protocol. Honoring a person is not an endorsement of their products.
Disqualification and removal
Anyone who pushes unproven cure claims comes off the list. Before or after they appear.
We can remove a name for cause. We record it in the ledger below.
If a nominee’s only vouch gets hidden, they drop to the shared zero-vouch rank. Nobody vanishes quietly.
We re-check every listed person once a year.
Conflicts and corrections
This ledger is public and permanent. Conflicts of interest, rule changes and removals go here as they happen.
Nothing to report yet.
Consent and removal
Being nominated does not put you on this site. A name goes public only after our check.
Some names were added by our editorial desk so every field is covered. If yours is one and you’d rather not be here, say so.
One email to kevin@thephoenix.community and you’re off within 48 hours.
You can also ask for everything we hold about you, fix it, or have it erased. No questions asked.
